Drive-thru coffee chain 7 Brew will open a new location at 4087 W. Powell Road in Liberty Township on Sept. 21, replacing an Arby's that was demolished in summer 2026 to make way for the stand.

Rick Nader, president of franchisee Motley 7 Brew, confirmed the opening date to NBC4. The location will be the chain's latest addition to a central Ohio footprint that has grown from one stand in Lancaster in 2023 to drive-thrus in Hilliard, Newark, southwest Columbus, Worthington, Delaware and the Dublin area.

The Arkansas-based brand uses a drive-thru-only format with double lanes. Employees called "brewistas" take orders and deliver drinks directly to customers outside their vehicles. There is no indoor seating or walk-up counter.

The menu spans more than 20,000 flavor combinations across coffees, teas, lemonades, smoothies and energy drinks. Signature items include a cinnamon roll breve, banana bread mocha, bubble gum lemonade, cereal milk matcha and piña colada smoothie.

7 Brew's growth has been steep. Yelp's June 2026 Fastest Growing Brands report ranked the chain No. 1 nationally, citing a 244% year-over-year increase in consumer interest. NBC4 reported the chain also ranked second in Ohio on the same Yelp list. The company ended 2024 with more than $502 million in sales and 321 locations, according to Technomic data reported by Nation's Restaurant News.

Founded in 2017 in Rogers, Arkansas, 7 Brew now operates more than 700 stands across 38 states, with 49 in Ohio.

The Liberty Township stand is part of a broader expansion wave in August 2026, with the chain opening 62 new locations across 26 states, five of them in Ohio, according to USA Today. Among those is a location at 6257 Pullman Drive in Lewis Center, though no opening date has been announced for that site.

Nader's company, Motley 7 Brew, was founded in 2022 by private equity firm Orangewood Partners and Anchor Point Management Group. It operates stands in Ohio, Georgia and Texas across six metropolitan areas. Orangewood made an additional investment in the franchisee in June 2025 to accelerate growth into new markets.

The W. Powell Road location adds another name to a corridor that continues to attract new restaurants and retailers. Cava Mediterranean opened at 9711 Sawmill Parkway on Aug. 10.
