The Delaware County Sheriff's Office is asking residents to help locate Bruce Mills, a 74-year-old man with dementia who left a residence Thursday, Aug. 6, and has not been seen since.

Mills walked away from a home at approximately 6 a.m. Thursday and was last spotted that afternoon in the 700 block of Polaris Parkway in Westerville, according to 10TV, citing the Sheriff's Office. The Genoa Township Police Department posted earlier Thursday that Mills had been seen walking west on Big Walnut Road near Interstate 71.

The Sheriff's Office formally reported Mills missing Aug. 7 around 3:30 p.m.

Mills is described as 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans and a ballcap.
