A Delaware County grand jury indicted Kristina Alexander, 52, on four felony charges for a three-vehicle crash on U.S. 23 in Orange Township that killed three people last August.

Alexander faces three counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of vehicular assault, according to NBC4, which reported the indictment on Aug. 24.

The charges stem from a crash at 8:32 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2025, just north of the intersection of U.S. 23 and State Route 750. Alexander was driving a 2018 Dodge Ram southbound on U.S. 23 when she veered left of center and struck a 2021 Toyota Venza traveling northbound, according to court records cited by NBC4.

After the initial collision, Alexander's truck ricocheted into a 2025 Honda Accord head-on. The Dodge Ram came to rest against the east guardrail. Both Alexander's vehicle and the Honda Accord caught fire after impact.

Two passengers in the Toyota Venza were pronounced dead at the scene: Carol Waldman, who was seated in the front passenger seat, and Amanda Reidling, who was in the rear passenger seat. A third passenger, Joseph Reidling, 56, was hospitalized with serious injuries and died nearly three months later on Nov. 10, 2025.

A Lewis Center man and an 8-year-old passenger were also injured in the crash and received medical treatment at the scene. Their identities have not been disclosed. Alexander was hospitalized with serious injuries but has since recovered, according to NBC4.

Court documents have not revealed what caused Alexander to cross the center line. NBC4 reported that no details about contributing factors have been made public.

The indictment came roughly one year after the crash. Alexander's arraignment date has not been set.
