Olivia Beamish scored four goals as Olentangy Liberty girls soccer beat Upper Arlington 5-1 in an OCC-Central Division match Tuesday, Sept. 15, in Powell.

Beamish put the Patriots in control early. Liberty led 3-0 at halftime, then outscored the Golden Bears 2-1 in the second half. Jacie Wilson added the fifth goal. The win moved Liberty to 6-2-1 overall and 1-1 in division play, according to the Delaware Gazette.

The Patriots play under head coach Chris Allen, who reached his 100th career win on Aug. 29 when Liberty shut out Wapakoneta 8-0. Team captain Libby Dobozy told the Patriot Press in a Sept. 8 article, "Coach Allen has helped us so much as a team and brought us so much closer."

Olentangy boys soccer 3, Marysville 0

Owen Hanlon scored twice and Brody Billiter added a third as Olentangy shut out visiting Marysville in an OCC-Cardinal Division match in Lewis Center.

Birch was perfect. Goalkeeper Carter Birch stopped all four shots he faced for the clean sheet. The Braves improved to 7-0-2 overall and 2-0-0 in division play.

Orange boys soccer 3, Dublin Coffman 2

Seth Tedla, Cooper Weinberg and Daniel Diawuo each found the net as Olentangy Orange held off host Dublin Coffman in an OCC-Central Division contest.

Goalkeeper Evan Hauzie made six saves to preserve the one-goal margin. Orange improved to 7-0-3 overall and 1-0-1 in division play, extending the Pioneers' unbeaten start to 10 matches.

Midfielder Mason Bogo, who returned this season after a nine-month knee injury, told the Delaware Source on Sept. 14, "I just want to enjoy the season. … I want to see the team come together even more than we already have. If we're able to do that, anything is possible … we could win states."

Liberty volleyball sweeps Upper Arlington

Olentangy Liberty's volleyball team swept Upper Arlington 25-17, 25-20, 25-16. No individual stats were available.

Liberty boys soccer also defeated Upper Arlington 4-3.
