The two-week closure of Wren Lane in Liberty Township has been pushed back four days because of weather.

The Delaware County Engineer's Office announced on X on Monday, Sept. 21, that the road will now close Friday, Sept. 25, and reopen Friday, Oct. 9. The original plan, announced Sept. 15, called for the closure to begin Monday, Sept. 21, and last through Monday, Oct. 5.

The Shelly Company is reconstructing the road, according to the Engineer's Office project page. Local resident and school bus access will be maintained during the work.

All work on the project remains weather dependent, the Engineer's Office said.
