Orange Township has designated two parking sites for its Founders Festival on Sunday, Sept. 27, at North Road Park in Lewis Center.

Attendees can park at North Road Park or at Olentangy High School, according to the township's website. The announcement, posted Sept. 22 by Sydney Herbert, Orange Township's communications and special events manager, lays out the basics for the afternoon event.

Getting there

The festival runs from 2 to 5 p.m. A free shuttle will run every 15 minutes between Olentangy High School and North Road Park, starting at 2 p.m. and ending at 5 p.m.

Drivers who park at Olentangy High School should plan to catch the shuttle. Those who park at North Road Park can walk directly to the festival grounds.

Parking at North Road Park is free, according to a post by Township Trustee Erica Fouss. The official township parking page does not address cost.

Festival lineup

The afternoon includes food trucks, vendors, a pumpkin patch, inflatables, free balloon animals, free henna tattoos and free bounce houses, according to the township's Facebook page.

Vendor registration is full, though a waitlist remains open on the festival page. Nonprofits, school groups and government agencies pay no vendor fee. All other vendors pay $35.

Orange Township held a Founders Festival in September 2025 as well, making this at least the second year for the event.
