The Lewis Center Area Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 17, on a new 7 Brew Coffee drive-thru at 6270 Pullman Drive, marking the chain's first location in the community and its second in Delaware County.
The stand's grand opening is set for Aug. 24. But residents won't have to wait that long to try it out: a nearly two-week promotional calendar offers multiple windows for free drinks before and after opening day.
Free drinks and swag
Friends & Family preview sessions run Aug. 21 through Aug. 23, with free small drinks (one per customer) during set windows:
- Friday, Aug. 21: 7–10 a.m. and 3–6 p.m.
- Saturday, Aug. 22: 9 a.m.–noon and 3–6 p.m.
- Sunday, Aug. 23: 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
Once the stand officially opens Aug. 24, Community Hours continue through Aug. 28, with free small drinks available 8–9 a.m., noon–1 p.m. and 5–6 p.m. each day. The celebration wraps Aug. 29, with Swag Day: buy a large drink and get a free 7 Brew T-shirt while supplies last, from 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Another arrival on the Sawmill corridor
The Pullman Drive location sits in the retail cluster serving Lewis Center, Orange Township and the Polaris area, part of the Sawmill Parkway commercial corridor that has drawn a string of new food-and-drink concepts in summer 2026. OX-B's fried chicken soft-opened on Sawmill Road days earlier, and Dutch Bros. Coffee recently filed to annex into Powell for its own drive-thru.
The Lewis Center stand is operated by Motley 7 Brew, a franchise group founded in January 2023 by Tom Cook, Rick Nader, Orangewood Investments and other partners. The group started in Ohio and has since expanded into Georgia and the Dallas-Fort Worth market, with a long-term goal of operating more than 350 stands, according to 1808Delaware.
7 Brew itself was founded in Northwest Arkansas in 2017 and has grown to more than 700 locations across 38 states. In June, Yelp named it the second-fastest-growing brand in Ohio based on new openings and user activity.
How it works
Unlike a traditional café, 7 Brew's model places a compact stand between two drive-thru lanes. Employees walk between vehicles to take orders rather than using a menu-board speaker, then prepare drinks inside the stand. The menu spans coffee, energy drinks, sparkling sodas, teas, smoothies and shakes, with more than 20,000 possible combinations.
The chain also launched a mobile app on Aug. 12, letting customers order ahead, save custom drinks and earn rewards.
Powell Road location still on track
The Pullman Drive stand is separate from a second Motley 7 Brew location planned for 4087 W. Powell Road in Liberty Township, where a demolished Arby's previously stood. Rick Nader, Motley 7 Brew's president, told NBC4 that location is set to open Sept. 21, as we reported Aug. 11.
The Pullman Drive stand opens for regular hours Aug. 24.
